Andrea Lauren

Andrea Lauren is a British-American printmaker based in southeastern North Carolina. She creates hand-carved linocut prints inspired by traditional folk music, quilt history, and the landscapes of the American South. Her current body of work, Songs from the Hollow, explores North Carollina’s musical heritage through traditional relief printmaking.

Andrea is also the author of Block Print, a beginners guide to linocut printmaking. Her artwork has been licensed by Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Graniph (Japan), Valentino Red, and Yves Saint Laurent, and she has been a top-selling artist on Spoonflower.

Today her practice focuses on creating limited-edition fine art prints using traditional hand-carving and relief printing techniques
